Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

No, just our annual trek to the SW to escape the worst of the winter back in MN. I don't think we'd like the summers here.:(

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

We came as close to freezing as we've been last night. In anticipation of that, since our bougainvillea shrubs have been the only plants we have had get severely damaged with frost in the past despite being covered, I rigged up a misting system on a timer to keep them misted for the 4 coldest of...

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

We have a Kwik trip in our MN town, and like it. Kinda miss it here in AZ sometimes, maybe Bucc-ees will have to be our distant cousin substitute down here.

They're building a Bucc-ee's about 10 miles from our AZ home. Kinda anxious for it to open and see what all the fuss is about.

    Electric bike

We've had the Lectric ebike, similar to the one in your photo, and a tote like that for the last three years, although I usually carry it on a bike rack on the back of the 550 TD. I've liked it, but Kris couldn't get used to the little power surge when the pedal assist kicked in. There is a...

    About those solar generators

We have the Delta 2, and recently added a Delta 3 with a 220 watt EF bifacial panel. I like the sogen, but the folding panel is a bit of a pain with its case being used as its support, it isn't the most stable, and the 3 panels try to fold back up to their folded stored position. I've also heard...

    About those solar generators

I agree, it's kinda hard to understand why they keep using such a relatively unstable connector. Having said that, I can't say having them come loose is something that's been a chronic problem for us. It's probably more a situation where there are still more cigarette style 12V connectors in use...

I put a link to dry brining in the original post, but after looking at it I discovered it wasn't the one I actually used. I corrected that here and above. Dry Brine Turkey

We tried dry brining last year, and it was one of the best birds I've made, but it's a little late to do for this years TG, best start three days ahead. No bucket required, so if there's room in the fridge for the turkey, you can dry brine it. How to Dry Brine a Turkey - Chef Tips for Dry...
