Misc MOAR POWAH!!!

Ranger
Its a thing! Everywhere!

Who here is playing with drones or considering it as another fun way to document outdoor adventures?

How do you recharge it?
Thinking about upgrades to CI POWAH
Or
Upgrades to additional POWAH in the tow vehicle?

How do YOU intend to POWAH your Hot Tub Option?

I dont have a drone or hot tub. Powering my fridge has been my big problem for a couple of years. No good solution on that, but I've been using this little solar panel for phone and portable batteries and finding its doing a good job. Small, light, portable, can chase random sun or put in car windshield.

@Jenn sweet!
This is very cool and perfect for keeping an iphone charged etc.
I scrolled a bit and found an earlier model of panels alone, unbundled similar to what I recall backpackers using years back. Wow prices have come down!

I imagine these are also more efficient solar panels and the 2025 "best of" review by GearJunkie and Outside is a big plus.

PS: I guess you all know I am completely making it up about the "hot tub option" by CampInn. First they have to finish the Maytag clothes washer in the beta phase, I hear.

However: for those of you with secret hideaways or dreams of an acre someplace to park off grid, here is a legit hot tub option:

I did a bunch of drone flying back when I was teaching drone video for filmmakers. My personal craft were smallish, not even the medium size we were teaching on.

I never had any problems keeping up 3 or 4 drone batts using 12v charging when driving to bring them from storage to flying charge, then topping them off after flying on the trailer battery. A lot of pilots never look beyond the AC charger that came with their drone, but the 12v stuff is out there.

Mostly I wanted to avoid the inefficiencies of inverters. I still don’t own one.
