A lot of us started as lurkers. There is a wealth of information and enjoyment on this forum. I learned so much and it really helped me get started on my journey. Just lurk and learn is my recommendation.
Ken & Peggy thanks for your help. We bought a Winnebago Travato so that we can spend 2 months or more in warmer places. We sold our tear to Paul Smith from WI. A very nice couple.they seem perfect for our 550 which made it a little easier to say good buy to her. I will miss the forum. Pat
You're welcome Pat. It sounds like you've figured a way to extend the time spent camping... enjoy every day of it.
Mark, we live in Knoxville. There’s a woman who already reached out about the camper. She’s coming Friday. If that deal doesn’t go through you’re next in line.
Cary, just got a new F150 to tow our campinn. Brakes are way off. Way too aggressive. Have trailer and truck controller on lowest gain setting. I have also backed the brake shoes all the way off but no luck. Do I need to recalibrate the trailer? Is there a fuse on the trailer brake controller that i can remove to shut down the brakes?
Hello Ken & Peggy. We just signed up for the forum & already needing to make a change to the name of our account. Having trouble. Any advice? Thanks.
Hey Camp-Inners! We are new & excited to hit the road. Meanwhile, we are learning from a lot from all of you. Thanks!
Whew, yeah that's a total of $405 which is a lot more than I was looking at. Hopefully other options are within possibility! Thank you for asking ups and thanks in advance for investigating other possibilities.
Christine, I am interested in the Side tent. I saw your comment about a side tent in a post from last year but assumed you had sold it. Is there any way you could estimate postage for Rienzi, Mississippi. Zip 38865?
Hi Jeremy, Yes someone was interested in it, but was not interested in mailing. We thought some time in the future we'd meet part way! Obviously, camping is still out of the question for us east coasters for a while. Let me take it to UPS tomorrow and see what they say. I'll let you know.
Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing form you! Hopefully it isn't too bad shipping and we can make a deal
Hi Jeremy. Outrageous at UPS: $75 and $54 or shipping , and $12 and $14 for the two types of boxes needed (one for the tent rods and the other for fabric) Give me a few days to investigate other possibilities.
