What's The Height Of The Wide-open Galley Hatch?

I'm 6', and could just make it under the hatch without banging my head. A very gracious couple showed us their SUV 560, but I didn't think to bring a tape measure. For comparison, when we looked at a Vistabule, the clearance was 78".
It's a shame that Camp-Inn didn't make the hatch opening a little higher. I do like their trailers, and I like to cook, too.

Right - 72” with the trailer level on a flat surface.
I’ve certainly been in campsites where the cook’s standing position is a few inches higher or lower than the tires. I think I’m slightly hunched over when I cook, maybe you are too (this isn’t because of the camper, I’m only 5’9”).

Dmitry, I am 6'4" and with the SUV upgrade and I fit under my galley hatch just fine. It is not necessary, but if I am going to be in a place for any length of time (meaning more than a weekend trip) I am likely going to take a set of Camco 44425 and use them to assist in leveling (if necessary) as well as to give me just a little more room. Again, not necessary --- I only discovered this "hack" (Man, I hate that!) 2 trips ago
There's no _NEED_ to do this; it just makes any cooking and dishwashing sessions more "enjoyable"In my previous campinn trailer (I've owned 2) I did not have the SUV kit -- even that was quite useable. Don't overthink it --- unless your name is Robert Wadlow, you'll be fine.
I don't think I'm overthinking it. If the highest point of open hutch was was 74" or more, I wouldn't be pondering if I should move on to another manufacturer. Sure, leveling blocks will raise it by up to 4", but finagling with the leveling blocks under the tires means more work, and more stuff to carry with you. Also, will the table legs extend that much, if you raise the wheels by 4"?

I would agree with you -- this is "just one more thing" -- ask my wife how often I say that. For me, they are not a necessity, just nice to have. Except for one campground with a slope -- effectively lowers the tabletop by about 4 inches relative to where I stand --- these make a big difference there. It's the tabletop that was the problem, not the hatch. Having to stoop to do dishes or cook gives my lower back a workout.
The tabletop height in the galley has always been more of a factor for me -- the lid/hatch height has never been a problem. CampInn puts a very nice water seal that acts as a forehead protector.
Something you may want to consider -- have you seen one in person yet? Most of us owners are happy to be ambassadors and give you a tour. When we were looking at ours, they set up a meet with an owner that was just a few miles away.
Being able to see the workmanship and get a feel for the size and location of things was priceless.
