After a quick check of the refrigerator I head out of town and over US2. Here I stop at my favorite latte stand and get a latte and recycle the last one (use the restroom).

The Do Not Park Between sign does not apply to teardrops. There was very little snow on the pass. Some years there would still be several feet on the ground this time of year.

Lake Wenatchee is a wonderful park. I'll write a separate park review later.

Some of the sites are very private like the one I am in.

But it is also not level. I had to unhook the trailer to get it level.

The park has bear sightings.

Following in your footsteps, we might head for Lakes Wenatchee and Chelan (and maybe Taklakh on the way) this September.

W looks to have many private sites, which we like!

What’s the situation at Lake Chelan - are the sites you recommend?

The beach loop sites are the best for tent camping. The RV sites are best for big RV’s. For a teardrop I like the RV sites and the west loop which doesn’t have hookups. The RV sites are small and you will have RVs right next to you and a million dogs and kids running through your space. But that is part of the charm.
