The Finer Things...

OK Craig & Cary, sit up & pay attention:

First we have the wheel lock. Seven 1/4" holes and a toilet bolt. The bolt stores handily where shown & gravity keeps it in place. Being brass it bends well and doesn't rust but will keep the trailer in place. It will also bend before breaking the wheel - I know. Try not to forget that you used it.

Then we have the Platinum propane tank, a rather expensive option available for the Ultra models only. As a special metallic mix/clear coat is required, you may want to contact a body shop.

Lastly, we have the finger saving , always there, polycarbonate propane box wrench which makes it a pleasure to change out or fill the tank. These are not available to the general public, and wont be unless you guys make some. This prototype was a pain to make, but works great!

I really like the center mounted jack. My 560 has a noticeable twist (at least to me) to the left when viewed from the front because the standard jack is off to one side a bit. I guess it's a tradeoff because yours can't fold up, but I'm thinking about switching mine anyways.

Evan, when you take off the wheel there is no need to fold it. See my "tongue Jack" post again. The only issue may be your rear hatch on your TV. We can sneak in the back of the Ford, but the tail gate won't lay down with the Tacoma. Then again, the tail gate would hit the propane tank before laying down without the center jack. It looks like the wheel would fit in your left lower storage compartment but rear access may be the key.
