Although I normally choose relatively level campsites, the one I chose this past weekend from Google Maps was a surprise. It had about a 10 degree slope from the road to the back of the site toward the lake which the satellite view didn’t tell me about.
Thanks to CI’s site flexibility I was able to lower the front jack all the way down and then raise the rear of the tear with the leveler jacks until it was level - even if the wheels were both over two inches off the ground. Now for the tables. Where is that leg extension I sold to Evan when I need it?!!!!!
I found a rock and a piece of firewood that solved the problem and was pretty proud of myself for getting everything level. Until I looked at Susan at dinner cutting her steak with her chin on the table and her elbows over her ears.
Other than that, the site was well shaded and I had a great nap at 4:00 PM at 73o when it was 91o outside. The AC likes shade. And it was my kind of site as the closest camper was 125 yards away!
