Side window disassembly for tinting

Has anyone taken the side windows apart? I need to remove the screens to tint the side windows. My question is...do I need new screen to replace the removed screen, or is it salvageable? It looks just like house screens with the cording, but not exactly sure.

Matt,

You are right on the mark. The screen is held in like a house screen with cording. You do need to unscrew the metal trim bezel (we call it the clamp ring) around the window to access it fully. The screen will come out undamaged and be able to be put back in by tucking the cord back in place. One of the little roller tools for door window screens helps a whole bunch.

Jenn,
Mostly to match the front windows, but also for some more privacy. A few people have peeked in when they don't think anyone is home.

The front windows are tinted. I think it's molded in the plastic.

Jenn, you blankets probably help block a lot of light too.

We did join the same day, just noticed that! It's an easy day to remember, lots of "1's".
