We are just back from Paynes Prairie State Preserve near Gainesville, Florida. Didn't need to set up an Alcove because the weather was perfect! Alcan cover looks great with the 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Oh Mannnnnn... camping on the beach sand... Way kewl...
Love the curtins, they almost match my Duvet for comfortable/quilt or whatever they call it... heheh...

Nice set up and notices the "Non-Milk" containers where the stove normally sits.. Sweet... Cocktails !!!!!! heheh
fun in the Florida sun...
Sweet..

That looks like a sweet setup, guys!
Camping in the sand - wow!
And the diagonally placed floor mat.
Designer campsite - nice!

Alan made the curtains. Just removed the plastic strip with the "tabs" on the original ones and resewed the strips to the new fabric (Silsila Gold). The UNC and UK sphere chairs are really nice...in the cooler months...NOT in the summer!! The fan can be disassembled (2 pieces...stand and motor) so it is easy to pack. We cover it with a large garbage bag at night to keep the dew off. 99% of our camping has been under trees and you can't hardly see any stars!!! However, when we go to Kissimmee Prairie State Park south of Orlando next month (the "best" place in Florida to stargaze)we will keep the fly off of our Copper Canyon 4 person tent/screenroom and enjoy the view and be protected from the bugs!! I have no regrets for choosing the 500 Special model. Cary says we're "a rare breed". Thank you all for the comments...everybody stay safe!!

Ahhh. Payne's Prairie. My old stomping grounds. My brother is/was very instrumental in the preservation of this beautiful spot in central Florida as well as many other acres in the area. Lots of beautiful rivers and springs in that area.

As for the chairs, red would match the curtains a lot better....... GO WOLFPACK!

AsheWolf....
I must apologize for your trip out west...
Alan will not let me forget that I did vote for him (not Alan)...THE FIRST TIME!!!
And I don't know why we went with the BLUE...
Alan is UK (psych and something else) but I am UNCW (art history) and the UNCW color is teal. I guess it's a state thing, although I grew up in Knoxville (7th grade to beauty school)and I do like Big Orange!
Now, I know, you all, are all probably thinking that I went straight to beauty school from the 7th grade.
My parents have lived on the Rainbow River for 24 years. This is a beautiful area.
