I try to park in shade when I can and let the cabin cool before charging. Keeping the battery around a half charge during long heat spells has also helped a lot.
I put a wifi thermometer next to mine. You can set a temp for it to send alarms to you. The only problem is if you change wifi networks while camping.you have to reset them .
Someone probably makes a Bluetooth version that would eliminate that problem
