Lee49,

Not sure the intent of your question.
Do you mean new campers or are you talking about someone restoring a used teardrop?

use high-quality linens
use high-quality blanket
use high-quality pillows

leave the rest alone!

:-)

and keep the bed made (when you are home) - one less thing to do when you want to make a quick getaway for the weekend

and don't just use the pillows off your bed at home. All you have to do is forget your pillows at home one time, and you will regret saving that $50.

My opinion, Keep the interior design simple. Think of the space as living room and bedroom. Less is more. Invest in dedicated linens, blankets, and pillows.
Along with dedicated kitchen and personal care items.

I do keep laundry soap and change in the tear, enough for 1 to 2 loads. Sometime, somewhere bedding will have to be washed.....

If you are a person who decoreates with throw pillows and decorative blankets, they look lovely at a car ralley, but where are you going to keep them while traveling and sleeping?

Keep the bed clear of junk while traveling. Do NOT pile bed full of junk. It has to be moved so you can sleep. Pack stuff in cabinets or vehicle. You don't want to show the world your stuff while moving it from tear to car while camping in Walmart lot.

Under the topic other gear and equipment, on this forum are lots of topics about bedding, curtains, or other things in the cabin. For me, whatever it is needs to have a reason...as well as be lovely. For example, you'll find regarding decorative pillows...you may think you want/need them, but as far as I know for everyone who has thought so, changed their mind after one trip.

For me, decoration is limited to the bedding: the fitted sheet, comforter, and pillow cases. Everything else is in the cabinets unless needed. I don't know if I'm really unusual or not...that said, you can express your individuality quite easily with those linens!

And here's some pics of my inside. http://www.campinnforum.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=20045#Post20045
