Very lucky to get this sequence of a breeching Humpback whale today in Maui. Not really camping related...

We did meet a guy here a couple years ago who was living on the beach in his homemade teardrop. His was set up so when the hatch was open you had a view out the back from inside. No worry about bugs here. THIS is the place to live in a teardrop full time!

I got my open water certification in Maui. It was towards the end of their migration season, we could hear their mating calls underwater as they headed out to sea... that was one of those memorable moments you never forget

AJ & Michelle, we were snorkeling today at Black Rock beach, a dependable spot for sighting turtles, as well as just being a great beach, and heard several whales while snorkeling. It's the beach where we heard them for the first time years back. Pretty amazing.
