We lost the Road Toad Ebay auction but still hope to find a VERY light weight tear drop we can pull with our (non-SUV) Forester. Craig at Road Toad recommended this forum as a way to find a used tear drop that meets our needs and budget.

A Forester has a 1500lb tow capacity so will tow any of the 550 series models we offer. Very common tow vehicle we see being used for this model. It would be a bit too light a tow capacity to pull a 560 series. 550 models have been built 24 years so a older used one may be a good solution.

Thanks! Very helpful advice - and as you can see, one popped up right away. It's in Denver - but our adult kids live there, so who knows!
