We took this weekend to meander up to Krause Springs in Spicewood TX to find and reconnect with the elusive inner-peace that goes into hiding during busy work-week. In addition to reflecting on the perfection that is south Texas in the spring, we wandered through thousand-year old cypress trees, saw innumerable butterflies flitting about, enjoyed the warm sunshine on our faces while we sat with our feet in 70-degree spring-fed water, and watched fire-flies light up an idyllic evening. A few snapshots:
Beautiful shaded spot
hot day, cool water = refreshing
Spring-fed pool
A little swimming hole created by one of the spring's waterfalls
Inner-ohm achieved, mission accomplished.
