Another example of CampInn's great service...

I drove from Chicago to Necedah to have brakes added to the trailer before our trip to the Pacific NW this coming Sunday. I got up there late Tuesday night, stayed in a local campground, and was at the shop early Wednesday morning.
To make a long story a bit shorter, they quickly discovered that the axle was held to the trailer by only the welds on the right side of the frame. The left side was totally 'disconnected'. It appeared our trip was going to be delayed at best, or cancelled entirely. The guy they use for their welding, another Marty btw, normally is not available on such short notice, understandably. Turns out he was in the area, AND had a portable welder in his vehicle, AND changed is schedule to get this job done.
Hours later the repairs were completed, CampInn's Chris completed the brake addition, and I left for home, knowing a potential catastrophe had been averted.
Cary, Marty(CampInn's Marty), Chris, Marty the welder, and the rest of the CampInn crew, showed again how they will do what it takes to ensure their customers are taken care of, regardless of how busy things already are.
That kind of service is all too uncommon. But for this group of people, it is just how they roll. Incredible.

Hi!

What a great "customer service" story! Makes us very excited that we are getting an Ultra 550 from Camp-Inn! Happy trails to you!

Best,
Diane

happy ending, albeit a little concerning that it had happened in the first place.

Did they say how it might have happened? Rough roads, bad original weld or something else?

As I recall, Hilditch had an issue with the axle on his as well, right?

I don't recall seeing anything from Hilditch about trouble with an axle - I'll have to do a search for that.
