How do you know you are a teardrop fanatic?

Evan, Thats awesome! Bernice & I were just talking about buying or building a second tear drop just yesterday and for the exact reasons you mentioned except our kids are all grown up with spouses so they could use it with us. Bernice is the one who brought it up yesterday. I'm not sure if we...

    Anything damaging about patina?

Thanks Hilditch! Your tow vehicle and camper look very nice together. You must have plenty of room to bring necessary items with you. I'll let you know how the woody wax does. Charlie

    Anything damaging about patina?

Hilditch, It sounds like you have discovered a way to maintain the exterior of the camp-inn's with a minimum amount of work. That sounds pretty good to me being from the northeast where we can only use the campers for 6 or 8 months. If the Woody wax works the way you say it does, I could do it...

    Solar Panel Project

Thanks Evan. I am following your story with great interest. Maybe the size of the panel makes a big difference as to whether or not it needs to be directed at the sun or not. ( I noticed you have a fairly large panel ) Thanks for posting your solar panel story. It is a big help. Charlie

    Solar Panel Project

Evan, Do you think that the angle isn't very critical after using your new panel this weekend? It seemed to be quite effective judging from your experience. I am very curious to see how it does in full or direct sun. Charlie

    Solar Panel Project

Great job Evan! Now I can't wait to get a solar panel for our camper. We just had our camper retrofitted at the Camp-Inn factory for solar along with the faucet/backsplash upgrade. Nice work at the factory as usual. I think we will keep our solar panel separate as our camper is a 550. It doesn't...

    Camper Names

I was wondering if everyone has a name for their rigs? We don't, but have been thinking about it. My girlfriend suggested the "Sin Bin" but for some reason I didn't go for that! HEHE. My husband wants a manly name and I like cute names....so what have you guys named yours...maybe it will...

    Storage bin organizer

Hi Eileen, I believe I got the c-channel in the hardware department in Home Depot. Your local hardware store should have it also. The first time I did the dividers I used 1/2 x 1/2 inch aluminum angle iron. The c-channel works much better though. If you can't find it, I could cut some pieces...

    Mattress, poles and battery

Re: Overstock.com 1.5" topper arrived... Ken, I'm pretty sure you will like the memory foam topper when you use it. It made a huge difference for us even though we have only used it once so far. Charlie

    Mattress, poles and battery

No problem with the feet fitting under cause I usually sleep on my side. Once I sink into the memory foam my feet do fit though. For the record I am 6ft 1inches tall, 181 lbs, size 13 feet. Bernice is not a midget either, but she won't let me put her specs on the forum. But the memory foam made...
