AJ and Michelle New door hinges...it is a BIG DEAL. One more proof point that the team at CI doesn't sit on their laurels (never did know what sitting on your laurels meant, can't say I have ever seen a laurel but I digress). Let's do a little analysis. Door hinges, nearly 500 units in the...

Evan, usually when a vehicle has a higher towing weight it is because they have added things like transmission coolers, radiator coolers, etc. ON the RAV4 from the website you need the following tow package option: Tow Prep Package (V6 models only) [7] -- includes 3500-lb. towing capacity...

Evan, check out a couple of other options. Ford Escape, GMC Terrain (Chevy Equinox). I've always thought the Escape handled well when I have had them as rentals.

Matt, do you have any concerns about leaving them out recharging if you aren't at the campsite? They look great but I don't know if I would be comfortable leaving them unattended. Regular solar panel sitting on the ground probably less of a target.

Sammi share a bit more information on your mode of travel? Could be that you are talking about driving a car, camping while out and taking your bike with you for day trips. As Jean said most tents these days have rain flys. Kind of a tent over a tent. Depending on your mode of travel you...

Looked at it online and the line drawing in the manual says 10V. Strange number.

A quick update. Camping World just extended their Cyber Monday sale for another day.

Ah Sue you slay me. At the time it was a virtual menagerie like a circus at some of the Colorado rallies. Balloons with ducks, horses, hares, Tweety, a dead cat, and the When Pigs Fly balloon. Unfortunately I don't believe I have ever seen a can o' spam fly....

So it's a contest to complete the sentence? My contribution Buy two 560 ultras for the price of one Airstream....

Yes cows are udderly delightful. You moove right along gently flying over the landscape. Cow patties are a problem when you have a 70 foot cow though...

Ok I did the deed. And if you use coupon code 9761 it takes off another $5. Cary, liked the Novakool but this price is to good to pass up. But be careful on the cow jokes. I've herd em all when I had my balloon.

Anyone looking for an AC/DC fridge CW has the Dometic 35 quart on sale for $599.

Jenn Matt Rogers posted earlier in this thread about his use of the Brunton, 26 watt panels. Sounded like he had 3 daisy chained together for just over 75 watts. But they are expensive. Amazon has them for $341.20 EACH. On the other hand UL Solar sells a traditional panel, like the one Evan...

Welcome to the forum. This site has lots of great information just takes awhile to read it all. If you have the furnace how about some short overnight test trips? Snow hasn't started flying in Wisconsin yet :)

I saw the ZampSolar also when I was looking at other trailers. Thought that if I ever got the urge for solar after I get my CI next year I would give them a call and see if they would sell the 80 watt kit without the solar regulator, just the folding panels and carrying case. Local solar...

Bear you are the modern man! Primitive would be chew the raw beans and then pour firey hot water as a chaser, assuming that you had discovered fire....

Jenn Believe that thingy is the hot tub heating element where they were getting warm water for the hot tub testing.

I was wondering how the sound is from the Surround Sound speakers that are built into the top of the doors. Forgot to ask Cary but thinking that in the small space, and with the miniaturization available from BOSE these days, that the quarter size speakers and grilles are pretty awesome.

Barry and Annie I've asked for a delivery right after Labor Day next year. That's probably longer than needed but Memorial Day to Labor Day is when I am tied up with the art festival circuit so it works for me. Also gives a bit more time to get all of the latest and greatest accouterments.

Rather than duct tape buy a roll of 'gaffers tape'. Looks and works like duct tape but doesn't leave behind the mess. This is tape that is used by photographers and film crews. You can find it on eBay. Bit more expensive but worth it.
