I believe if you hit the rain icon it will override the sensor and allow you to keep the fan running. We are new to the Maxx fan and had the same experience. The red light will continue flashing while in override mode, I think. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

Yes your Home Location should have your lat/long info. It needs to be correctly listed with either + or - signs etc. I just looked at mine, and it's reverted to showing just my Zip Code. But, my pin's on the map. You might try that first...

This weekend is the Air & Water Show in Chicago. My 10 yr old grandson Max and I went to the practice on Friday, which is the full show minus the crowds. It never disappoints.
