    Buffers

Hilditch, I don't have pix of the Ultra Gloss. Here is what I do know. The aluminum used in the center section of our camper is different than the sides. The vendor that sells CI the formed pieces has a more brilliant finish. I think the same aluminum is now being used through out each unit...

    Cargo Carrier

I hunt. Since my tow vehicle is an '02 Forester, I need a way to bring home the bacon. I intend on carrying the cargo carrier on the rack on my car. I will install if I am successful. Good question, I know some people are offended by hunting. I mention it only as a point of clarification. Steve

    Buffers

Jean, There is a polish out by Woody. It is called Ultra Gloss. This really cleans down to the metal. When I first tried it, I was worried. It looked like a mirror finish compared to the rest of the camper. After I treated the entire camper, it looked very good. I then treated it with the wax. I...

    Cargo Carrier

I am adding the receiver hitch to our 550. I will use it for a cargo carrier. I know cargo carriers tend to twist and bow with the load. I want the carrier to be square and not rattle in the hitch. Has any one installed a cargo carrier and attached the edge towards the camper to the bumper? This...

    Buffers

Jean, I have a 6" and 10" buffer. I use the 6" most of the time to clean the camper. I have switched to Woody Wax but have used Walbernize a couple of times. The covers for my buffers have elastic to hold in place. They tend to stay in place, even when wet. I found a couple of soft cotton...

Kids in Kampers (aka Tykes in Teardrops)

Jim, My wife has slept with three of our grandchildren....I slept in a tent. Ages, 12, 10, 6. All girls. After a long day of activities and a movie of their choice, sleep came easily. I hope you and yours are well. You will find a way. Steve

    TV antenna

For a hunt camp lasting a few days, I set up the dish. This gives me The Weather Channel, The Outdoor Channel and Fox News. I run the receiver off a 100w inverter. Who could want more? Steve

    Copper Harbor, Michigan

Ken, We go up and hunt deer. Usually for three or four days after the 15th of November. It is a hunt that has been taking place for 35 years now. This is the 28th year on BI. I have been up there twice in the summer. The boats are just stunning and the people very friendly. Steve

Ken, I can imagine what it must have looked like. We are still hot and dry. The fall will be more brown and dead than red and orange. I am jealous of where you can launch from for northern camp trips. This is the first year in several I will not be going to Charlevoix...Beaver Island to hunt...

    Hello from South Carolina

Jason, We also chose the 550 based on looks. When we picked it up, we saw a 560 for the 1st time. If you can get over the looks, the interior of the 560 is very cool. After that glance, I have never given it a second thought. Steve
