    Hello from Austin TX

We're in San Antonio and have a 560 Ultra. LOVE IT! It fits in our garage w/o a problem (yeah, we camp in it in the garage, too)! All the quality stuff has already been addressed, so, I'll just hit our rationale. We had a Class A motorhome all picked out...and then realized it totally was not...

    Wood Paneling Walnut Interior

We have the Mahogany option and LOVE it! Now, I'll say up front that we spent 3 full weeks in the 560 rental this past summer. It has the standard panels and we were perfectly happy with that, too. But in our new 560 the mahogany, for us, just give an extra special feel to the cabin. It only...

    Hello Everyone

I wish I could tell you that it wears off after a while, but the truth is the anticipation just builds. Then you FINALLY get it and you think, "OK, now I can calm down." But you don't...the anticipation just builds for the next trip! In the end, you either just accept that you'll always be...

    Santa/Camp Inn?

He sure did! Our little girl was thrilled and he brought us some much needed items (Camp Chef popcorn maker, hot dog skewers, etc)! He's a good guy!

    protecting a solar panel

I bought the 100w Grape solar panel from Home Depot (online, shipped free). I'm very happy with its performance!

    protecting a solar panel

BTW, I'm very pleasantly surprised with the charging power of my 100w panel, I must say! I love the solar option!

    protecting a solar panel

I've been considering having a moving pad (you know, those thick blankets on moving trucks?) sewn up into a sleeve. I figured I could keep my panel and the solar extension cord in there.

    Santa/Camp Inn?

As this is our first Christmas with a Camp-Inn, I'd like to know if there are any protocols we should know about. We have a curious 6 year old who wants to know. I heard that you have to keep your Fan-Tastic Fan open a bit since there's no chimney. Any idea how far open? How do you keep raccoons...

Guadalupe River State Park (Spring Branch)

Typically they fill up REALLY quickly in the Spring. However, they had lots of empty spaces when we were there. My son and I are going out again this weekend to McKinney Falls SP in Austin. We'll post about that too!

    Fort Frederick

I did a one-nighter at Fort Frederick State Park, MD on my way into DC for Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful park and my lot was about 40 feet from the Potomac River. There are train tracks that run through the river valley but it just added to the ambience. Your mileage may vary on that and if...
