The pictures I posted earlier is the 8 ft. The advantage of the 8 ft is that collapsed, it can be stored in the galley for travel. The XL or 9 ft you would need to put it in your TV or on the bed when traveling. The right “wing” on the 8 ft does go right over the cooler on the right hand...

My opinion...I do so all the time...fridge in the galley with food while traveling. But... I’m in the upper Midwest, nothing like crazy temps which can happen in the southwest

The 2nd entrance is I believe a diy entrance. They sewed zippers on one of the triangle mesh, so it zips open. I suspect the $$ mentioned is for the zippers or other materials needed for the diy? That’s a very clever mod, I tried my sister’s 6 sided clam and the single entrance didn’t make...

Suggestion... email campinn and ask if there is a owner near you with a trailer with SUV height option, that may or may not make it tall enough, but the best way to see if it will be comfortable is to just go check one out!
