Cold Weather Camp On Metolius River

Decided to test out a cold weather camp trip in the 550. Had a blast. Had the entire campground to ourselves for the majority of the trip. Not a typical campground we would visit (sites are really open and close to eachother), but it was 45 mins from our house, on the river, open year round and...

Delta Campground And Blue River Reservoir, Oregon

Very thankful we were able to spend some time here. Very sad that it is now all gone :( We just lost this amazing spot to the wild fires and many, many more as well. Please keep the entire west coast in your thoughts, these fires are destroying our beautiful states, peoples homes, livelihoods...

    More Dispersed Ochoco Nf Oregon

Had another teardrop join us camping this time! Ochoco National Forest dispersed camping again. This is another, even larger spot. Other than seeing some cars through the trees a ways away on the road, we did not see another soul all 3 nights we were there. Not much for pictures this time as...

(non Teardrop Adventure) Backpacking Camp: Snowshoe Lake, Or

Bit different adventure this time. (sorry if not allowed as no TD in this one). Did a 15 mile round trip backpacking camp trip. My first time doing this. Was a blast though. Can barely walk afterwords, but so worth it. Snowshoe Lake in Central Oregon. Slept in the hammock. Was quite...

    Yukwah Campground, Oregon

Another great camp trip in the books! Can't express how much we love this teardrop. It has been a blast. Multiple more camp trips already planned :) We got a canopy now as you can see! We did not experience any hail this time. Did get some rain on the last day which it came in handy to keep some...

Massive Hail Storm Camp Trip! Ochoco Nf Dispersed

Well we just had a pretty amazing camp trip ;) More dispersed camping. This time out in Ochoco National Forest. Very nice, huge secluded spots throughout. We were out with a group of friends this time as restrictions are laxing up a bit out here and with such a massive spot, were able to keep...

    Hi Fellow Campers

Thanks! It is indeed Mt Bachelor :)

First Camp Trip. Dispersed Oregon Nf Camping

Absolutely! From what I am seeing, it looks like the dispersed camping ban is only for Oregon State Forests. National Forests appear to be unaffected from what I can tell, so hopefully more trips to come soon.

First Camp Trip. Dispersed Oregon Nf Camping

Well, we finally were able to get out and have our first actual camp trip in the 550. It was an amazing weekend and the 550 made it all that much better. We love everything about this teardrop. The fact that I could unhook and push it into whatever spot we wanted, was awesome. We are super happy...

    Post Covid Campsite Availability

We will be doing a lot of dispersed camping I think due to that. We are really lucky here in central Oregon we can plop down anywhere pretty much in the national forest and camp. There are tons of dispersed camping sites here that are really secluded.

Its not too bad! He is not very big and he is old and just likes to cuddle. Plenty of room for him to lay between us.

Very First Outing In The 550

Hi Seth! The media player is a Micca brand. I believe its this one: Amazon.com: Micca Speck G2 1080p Full-HD Ultra Portable Digital Media Player for USB Drives and SD/SDHC Cards: Electronics It is indeed USB powered. It is actually being powered by the USB port on the TV itself. The USB on the...
