Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

You do have a beautiful view to appreciate from your home each day, so we understand your reluctance to leave it. We sometimes have mixed feeling about missing most of the winter season too, but when we see the bitter cold set in, especially when it stays for awhile, we feel happy about being...

Well at least you won't have to go out and heat up the motor home to watch the Pack play anymore this winter, unless you've converted to a Lion's fan for the playoffs like I have since the last two debacles the Vike's were involved with.

Need Help Notifications going straight to spam?

I haven't received any notices of postings since the outage. I just checked my spam folder, and none in there either, so not sure what the issues is with that. We made our annual trek to the SW a couple weeks ago, so haven't had a lot of time to be checking the forum during that time, but the...

Need Help 50 nights badge missing from many/all signatures

PC keeps too many from looking that deep into it what it was actually saying...they only see/hear what's on the surface.

Welcome to the upper midwest where the weather frequently turns on a dime...although you've been here long enough that it really shouldn't be too much of a surprise anymore. It is also an indication that it may be time to think about making the annual trek to the southwest.

    Ford Maverick Truck!!

Yeah, like so many things, the supply line interruptions during the pandemic caused so many things to legitimately go up in price due to supply & demand, especially vehicles, but they sure have been slow to come back down even though there is little if any supply-line issues still preventing...

Yeah, there's even your namesake park on the north end of the lake, but not sure they would allow camping. ;)

...yeah, I know the type of sales person you're talking about...too bad they don't get the fact that some customers want to cut through all the BS, and just get down to the facts, and bottom line price. Just be careful up there, like me, you aren't getting any younger(or more nimble).

    Hello From Champaign-urbana

We purchased our 550 Ultra #174 from a couple not too far from you in Saybrook, IL back in 2013. Still in nice shape, and enjoying it 11 yrs later!

We put Leaf Guard gutters on the house and pole garage 20yrs ago, and haven't cleaned a gutter since, not cheap, but neither is trip to the ER if you fall off the ladder or roof...and with the amount of trees surrounding our home, gutter cleaning wasn't just a once a year job.

    Simple 2 Ingredient Biscuits

For those who find that when they buy baking powder it usually expires well before it's ever used up, you can make your own baking powder when needed. It is made of baking soda (a base), and cream of tartar(an acid) that don't really react much with each other until they are mixed with the...

    Favorite Pricey Not-from-ci-accessory

Nice price on either one, and it sounds like having your battery in the rear would make the permanent/temporary installation of the alternator charger and use while driving a pretty likely possibility without being too hard to remove for installation into a different TV. I was just looking at a...

    Favorite Pricey Not-from-ci-accessory

It doesn't have an alligator clip. It has eyelet connections meant to be permanently attached to the vehicles battery & ground. They could maybe be replaced with alligator clips as long as you had a good connection. I leave mine permanently attached to the battery & ground,(which took about 5...

    Favorite Budget Not-from-ci-accessory

I'm glad to see that someone finally came up with a telescopic one. A collapsible one was something I had thought about trying to do when I first saw how bulky the Solostove type burners would be for hauling, and was one of the reasons I opted out. I had been thinking more of one that would have...
