    Itinerary 19th Annual Camp-Inn Camp-Outt

HOTR...Yes, you will need several hours for a visit...kind of like a CI orientation, but on a larger, more bizarre scale. ;) Lots of interesting things to see. Unlike CI, most exhibits haven't been touched/dusted/cleaned in years. :D CICO - There is no mandatory check in or check out...

    Itinerary 19th Annual Camp-Inn Camp-Outt

You will be in good company if you come midweek. Usually have a good number of campers set up by then. They start trickling in a week before.

Funny you should mention donuts, as one of our CICO regulars has started a small donut cart business and will have them available Saturday and Sunday morning. :)

Not a conflict! Rather, an additional option for something to do, albeit, a bit of a drive! ;)

Little Guy: A Blast From The Past

Craig & I went to the 1st & 2nd CRA when it was held at McCormick's Creek State Park. Beautiful park and a lot of fun. Kurt S. is a great guy and puts on a fantastic gathering. Craig did a builder's workshop and we made homemade ice cream for everyone using my great grandfather's 8 gallon...

So far, this year's numbers are about average for attendance. Our largest was the 10th CICO in 2013, with over 200 people and 115+ camping units. The park has a total of 330 campsites in three separate areas (A, B & C). Area B has several permanent campers. All Areas have electric and...

Yep. We have it here. Only comes in glass bottles - 12 and 17 oz. The only kind my SIL will drink. Mexican Coke, exported from Mexico, contains more sugar than Coke you buy in Mexico. In Europe, Diet Coke has potassium benzoate added, which gives a more bitter aftertaste. Coke-Light (comparable...

Yep. Been to Burdocks. Quite good! Also been to Guinness. The tour is very interesting and well worth the $. Many of the innovations that were developed because of Guinness have had a positive impact on the world's economy today. Learned how to pour a proper pint. There is a taste testing area...

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

I do! Most recently was last July. It is a beautiful land with lovely people. Reminds me of where I grew up in rural NH and the pace of life is like it was back in the 60s. If you liked my previous photo, you will enjoy this one. It is the view from his front yard.

    Block Ice

Having lived and traveled in the Intermountain West, dry ice can be found in most grocery stores. Not so here in Wisconsin. Have to obtain it from a dry ice supplier.

My all-time favorite (which you either grow up liking or have to acquire a liking) is the scent of a salt marsh. So many good memories growing up with the ocean. :)

I was introduced to Helen Patton, granddaughter of George, through my brother, who has been friends with her for several years. Very interesting family and history. She started the Patton Alliance (a worldwide network) and the Patton Foundation. She actively works at documenting and preserving...
