Love the Froli Sleep System. Came across this video review that includes a 15% off promo code that I thought I would share. Also a link to her install video and a link to an earlier post with pictures of my install in the 560.

    Cheers!

The email I got said to use JULY2SALE for the Independence Day discount. It did not work so I tried JULY4SALE and I got the 20% off.

Even without 20% off, I LOVE my Froli System.

As long as it's lined up under my hips / shoulders, It sleeps as well as my super fancy memory foam mattress at home.

    NEVER a bad night ;)

I see Froli has 3 versions. Is everyone purchasing the Travel version? Want to insure I purchase the correct one.

There is a 4th option as well that you can get info on if you call and talk to them. It is one made for OEM installations, and is considerably less expensive than the others shown on the website. It comes with 9 springs connected together in a square mat which is trim-able to the size required, and there are 2 different firmness levels. We have had it for the past two years, and have been happy with it, but as far as I know we are the only ones in this group using it, so not a lot of comparisons to go by, but wanted to let you know there is another option to consider. If you look in about the middle of this forum page Memory Foam Or Some Other Type Of Mattress Topper? Need Advice! you'll see some pics I posted along with a brochure pdf from Froli on this option.

Hope that gives one more option to consider.

I looked at your photos and it appears you have the Froli units attached to a hinged board. is that correct?

Yes, you are correct, but it had nothing to do with anything needed for the Froli systems installation.
I had built a system to pull the bed up into a couch using a series of strap hinged plywood sections that lay on top of the original TD floor.
Here is a link to that info. Custom Couch in a 550

  10. Randy: Thanks also for the "Randi" coupon code. (No relation, I presume.)

Also, as an FYI... it only works for their Travel and Star systems and not for their upper end domestic (non-RV) product.

I ordered my Star Froli Bed Support today. They highly suggested the Double plus 12 expansion kit, and a few here had done the same; so I went the same way. Thanks for the 15 percent off link. It worked great! Just a tad over $300 plus $16 shipping to FL. Thanks everyone!

Van & Terri, we are in the Ocala area and are seriously considering this after a recent 2 week trip to the mountains when we had a lot of condensation under the mattress with some mildew formation underneath.
What kind of mattress do you have? The original? we got a replacement 4” at IKEA and are concerned about toes hitting the cabinet.
And why did you get the double plus 12 instead of the Queen?

    Lisa and Kevin,
We have the original mattress with a 2 inch topper. I’m getting older and a good nights sleep has become a priority. We went with the double plus 12 for the Star Froli because several others in the forum said it was a perfect match. The Distributor of Froli is very familiar with the Campinn Teardrop and recommended it too. The Traveler Froli is slightly less tall and I almost bought it. But the Star Froli has glowing reviews. I hope to receive it before the weekend. I will post a review once installed. You’re welcome to come check it out since we’re not far away from you. Presently, we have a Hypervent matt under the mattress. No cushion on the Hypervent, but it helps with limiting moisture under the mattress.

We got the queen size option and we had plenty left over so I used extra to do the couch cushion as well. It makes siting on the couch for a 2 hour movie much more comfortable. If you do just the bed I am sure the double plus 12 is the best option.

    Van and Terri,
    Anything to report?

Been traveling; finally got it all done. Very quick installation, all of a hour. We have 9 inches of clearance between the cabinets and the original mattress over the Star Froli System. It’s perfect for Van, maybe a little firm for Terri. Sounds like we got some adjusting to do, which is the beauty of the Froli System.

Finally found the time to finish the Froli Bed System. Very happy with the results. There is 9 inches of clearance between the mattress and the upper cabinets now.
