I have had great success with several types of battery powered fans by “O2 Cool”. Since we have a roof fan as a camper installed option we don’t have much need for another battery fan inside the cabin. However we use these when it it’s too cold outside to have the roof fan venting all night. So...
Oh so nice! I added these nets last year and they are a WONDERFUL addition for those items you want quick access to. Thanks for the tip! I highly recommend taking to time to make this modification.
Randy, what type and where did you get your LED lights? And do they plug in to the 12v cigarette adapter? Really seriously thinking of adding red led strip lights to my 560.
Oh and also.. I read you sealed the gasket against the trailer wall... so you didn’t seal the lens to the gasket? Was this to make it easier to remove when replacing bulbs?
I thought about those “weep” gaps but sealed anyway... I probably should have sealed all my lights on a cool dry day. The day I did it was hot and a little humid so I may have inadvertently trapped humid air in all my marker lights. So far I have only seen moisture in one of them after sealing...

I have a constant issue with moisture (water vapor) inside all but one of my camper running lights. I have contacted Camp inn and tried to apply some fixes. They thought that the screws I had were just a hair too long and when screwing them the base of that screw would hit the light...
Yup! Trimax on both wheels. Highly visible and as lorieandkeith said.. they double as wheel chocks.
I use 2 locks (keyed the same... it’s an option you can get them in pairs) just to throw off the theif who has the one spare tire to use.. figure they won’t remove both wheels... of at least it...
+1 on the REI tent poles. Just used them this past week with 5 days straight of rain...The 8’ version is the one you need. Not only do they look great they are all aluminum and won’t rust. And they are way easier to extend and lock. No slippage whatsoever..My only “problem” is that the plastic...
Handben and Randy.. those are wonderful!! I just might use this idea for our next trip to our Astronomy star party.. need some red “ambient” lighting to make it more inviting. The single red light in the pantry is too “ in your face”
Will be looking at these types of additions seriously,
Boy that coupler looks like some serious strength! And it does look to seat much more securely.. Is the operation the same? Align the coupler and ball then drop the coupler on it..? Then what is done to engage or close the system? A lever on the side vs the top?
