I have read it’s sufficient for email, text, VOIP calls. We now have a few places in the Sierra we want to test it. Waiting impatiently for the Mini’s arrival.

We are onboard with the Starlink Mini. Just purchased it. We’ll be doing the basic Roam deal. No intention of streaming anything. Probably be on standby most of the year but that seems worth the $5/month. We’ll be running it off a Peakdo battery which attaches to the back.

I’m biased but I think it’s pretty great! ❤️

Hello, our heater didn’t operate as expected on our last trip to the coast (November). The thermostat we have in #1010 looks, uh, not good. We are thinking to swap it out. What kind did you end up buying?

I see now that I never updated this post with my selection. We went with the Carlisle Radial Trail HD. Wanted fresh rubber before going on our first trip. We’ve been out three times, the wheels stayed on, and looking forward to more adventures in ‘26.

Could be a real dumb question but… so what! We are looking to buy a larger LP gas tank and wondering if the current cylinder collar can holder a larger tank. The collar is 6” tall (from where it’s attached to the tongue). Thank you!

I look at it more as a fallback in areas where cell service is non-existent. No interest in streaming, etc. Saw a video for the mini on Hobotech that featured a Peakdo battery for the mini. Very intriguing.

Starlink Roam is the service plan, correct? I recently watched a YouTube on the StarLink Mini dish and I’m now very interested in what services are offered, etc. It’s starting to look like the best option out there to ensure we can call (VOIP) if needed.
