Side Tent Side Tent On Concrete Solution

So I looked into hiadventurer's solution using a rubber mat. I found 3/4 inch thick rubber flooring. Cut to the size of the side tent floor (42x36), I figure each mat will be around 40 pounds, which I think should hold the side tent in place even in gusty winds.

    Need A Battery

I found a company called "Battery Outlet". They have a PS-12750 AGM battery (12 Vdc, size group 24) that ought to fit. Only difference is that the old battery has pads which accept a bolt to attach the battery leads while the new battery has posts with a hole to bolt the battery lead to it. I...

    Need A Battery

Found no size 24 AGM batteries today that had the positive and negative posts in the right orientation (negative on the right). Also the old battery has screw in pads while all the batteries I looked at today have posts. Not that big of a deal to over come though. I did find a regular car...

So we're leaving this coming Saturday for our trip, but discovered last night that the camper battery has gone bad and I need a replacement. Is a size 24 AGM battery going to fit? Any help would be a us right now. THANKS, Tim

Side Tent Side Tent On Concrete Solution

I've used PVC pipe to form a square to fit the outside edges of the tent floor to keep the tent shape, much like your mat does but without the weight

    New Cooker

First, to respond to Mariusz's comment - yes it's big, but with the chimney removed and the feet folded up, the unit measured 29 inches by 19 inches by 9 inches. The unit comes with 4 9x9 flat stones which fit inside when cooking, 2 doors, a charcoal tray, a cover for the burner section, and the...

    New Cooker

So, to add to our camping experieance, we purchased a UUNI PRO cooker. The company advertises this as a wood fired pizza oven but you can do much more than pizza with it. Only drawback is the expense. But fun to cook with.

    Hand Forged Tent Stakes

These are cool. I always liked blacksmithing products. I ended up going on ebay and purchased military grade tent stakes

    Securing your trailer

I had a Reese Hitch Lock when I watched the Proven Industries video on how easily the lock can be removed, so I tried it and sure enough, I had that lock broken off in about 10 seconds. Jay and Valerie's video features a Proven Industries hitch lock and it looks to be military grade tough. A bit...

    Side Tent Rain Fly

We tried putting up the rain fly on our side tent but couldn't decide on where the anchor points would be on our 560. We bought the 560 used and the side tents came with the deal, but the instructions we got for the side tent was for a 550 and there was nothing on how to set up the rain fly. Can...
