Beautiful fish! There's nothing like the high sierra. Saddlebag is 3 miles up a dirt road off the Tioga Pass, 2 miles from the entry to Yosemite. We stayed at the Saddlebag group campground which is reservable. The rest of the the campsites are first come first serve. v/r David

Randy, we were just camping at Saddlebag Lake last week in the high Sierra. Absolutely loved it. Great fly fishing above 10000' elevation. Got into some fun brookie action but didn't land any goldens. Would love to find places closer to get out and fly fish more local to the Ventura County...
