EXPIRED Wtb: 560 Ultra With Ac

There were several really nice ones posted in the past couple of weeks. Nothing was in the NW, but these were in great shape and might be worth the drive.

We just bought the 2012 that was for sale posted on here, just picked it up yesterday. We were considering several others posted here as well.

I would encourage you to reach out to some of those listed and see if they are still available.

Our 560 Classic might meet your needs, including the AC option - see our posting titled “2009 560 Classic for sale” posted on 9/28 in this same "For Sale/Wanted" Forum. We've tried out our 560 in the NW, having spent a week on San Juan Island kayaking and riding our tandem bicycle (hint: if you put the kayak on foam blocks on top of the teardrop instead of on top of the vehicle, you can avoid the overheight/overlength charges!)

As Jay has noted, you have some good choices to consider. As a result of our Craigslist and Camp Inn Forum postings, we have had two people travel down from the Denver area in the last three days, and today we answered an inquiry from Oklahoma.

The differences between most of the (various years) 560 Ultra vs our 2009 560 Classic are as follows:
Ultra has doors on the upper cabinets in the cabin, our Classic does not;
Ultra has “vintage style” door handles, our Classic has straight door handles;
Ultra has a water tank monitor and low/fair/good/charging battery status, our Classic has an accessory digital battery voltage readout and no water monitor;
Ultra has billet machined aluminum base porch lights and marker lights, our Classic has black rubber bases for the same lights;
Ultra has LED taillights, our Classic has sealed incandescent bulbs;
Ultra has xenon chrome cabin and kitchen lights; our Classic has these same lights that we added as an option (and they were worth it for the added lighting flexibility).

All of these differences can be viewed for the current models at the Camp Inn web site on their "Model Compare" page. I can also send you a complete price breakdown and comparison of what we paid for our teardrop versus today’s costs for the same options and accessories.

Let us know if we can answer any questions about our particular teardrop - twomacs@mac.com or 719-593-8288.
