I checked on the Far Fars today and she is doing well. It has been 2 1/2 months since she had her battery charged and the meter reads 12.4. My plan is to bring her home to be charged when it gets to 12. Maybe I will have a chance to go camping before then.

I sure do have the itch to get out there. I am watching the weather in the hopes that we will have a nice weekend soon. I know this might be a bit much to ask here in the NW but I am hoping. May have to just bite the bullet and go.

I have a trip planned for each month starting the end of April through July. These are organized gatherings so I am posting the information below in case anyone else is interested:

DAM Gathering May 3rd through 6th. I am going early and spending the week down there.

NW Camp Inn Gathering Memorial Day Weekend

Tearjerkers 'Birthday Bash'. June 7th through the 11th.

IRG July 26th through the 30th. Registration is closed for this but I think there is a wait list.

Nothing scheduled for August, September or October yet. I will soon have my 25 nights badge and well on my way to my 50 nights.

I know what you mean our CI is stored in our garage so I see her everyday and the itch is getting bad especially with the mild winter we are having. Maybee a one nighter late March or early April to start the season

PNW Camping is not too bad as long as you plan for it... Canopies are a must obviously..
Doing Maryhill Winery on the Gorge in 2 weeks, back there the chances are a little better. Camp with power for heaters etc..

Just planning on "Doing Lunch at Mary's Place (Maryhill winery)" and camping just below it.. other trips of course.. the point being, plan for the worst..

When Seattle was under snow, a few weeks ago, we were up at Camano Island and a little drizzle, snow flurries, but did have sun too.. not bad, nice campsite too..

Was going to do Larrabee, just south of Bellingham, but schedules prevented it.. Wind and Rain combined 40mph is a canx, but other than that it usually is not bad...

Frank, Maryhill sure looks like a great place to camp. I love the area and there is a lot to do there. The museum is certainly a gem. Later in the spring the wild flowers along the hill side going to Goldendale are amazing.

If I had time and trailer I would be there.

    Jenn,

I can probably do some weekends for the rest of the summer. Where do you plan on to be?

Jenn, you don't need a passport for Canada - just an enhanced driver's license. It's much easier to get.

Washington, Vermont, New York, and Michigan appear to be the only states with the enhanced driver's licenses so far, unless the sites I've found are not up to date.

Ken you are exactly on point on the states that offer it. Jenn take your passport. Evan, while the EDL is good for land travel if something unfortunate were to happen while someone is in Canada and they need to fly home they will have problems without the passport since EDL's are not good for transborder air travel.
