Where do you put linens?

Discussion in 'Tips & Tricks' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Feb 13, 2010.

  1. Wondering where and how to store the following:

    Kitchen towels and washcloths?
    Bathroom towels and washcloths?
Extra bed linens for cold nights?

Right now, I have all of this in a storage bag that gets throw in the back of the CR-V but it seems like an inelegant solution.

Ours are rolled up & kept in a small plastic box w/lid. This is stored in our right side cupboard in the galley. However, this is easier for us, as our right cupboard is a bit larger than the ones they make now.
Ours are tri-folded & fit nicely in the interior part of the front storage box.

We keep a heavy blanket folded up across the bottom of the bed. Would use a lightweight down comforter but I'm allergic. We also have a 12volt mattress warmer to take off the chill. We've camped down to 28 degrees & been plenty warm with this. In cold weather, when we know we will have electric hookups, we carry a small ceramic heater that we set on an open interior drop-down cupboard door. The heater is temperature sensitive, so you can set it and be good for the night. We also keep a spare set of sheets in a zippered sheet bag. Which reminds me, I sew the bottoms of the top & fitted sheets together, like on waterbed sheets. Makes it so much easier to make up the bed.
