WANTED Wanted

I think every 560 I looked at before buying mine was in excellent condition. Owners seem to take very good care of these trailers.

However, I think you will find that used ones go for almost the same price as new. The big advantage of buying used is that you don't have to wait.

Therefore, you should ask yourself, do you want to wait for a new one? If so, place your order now. If not, then look for used. Keep in mind that buying used can be a wait as well as they come up only sporadically. You will see several posted and then nothing.

You are very welcome. Happy to help if you have any questions. I also have a detailed walk through video of our trailer if you have not seen it yet.

Next few blog posts are going to be campsite reviews. I am headed to 3 different campgrounds before end of the month All local to Texas though.

First have you seen a CI teardrop? If not, contact Cary for the closest unit to you, you might be able to arrange a look.

I have purchased two used 550's. One site unseen, second I had seen when they mentioned it was going to be for sale. Both times I traveled over 500 miles one way, the owners meet me half way. Third CI is new and not for sale!

As for buying used, a 560 will be offered for sale, with and without the options you desire. Be prepared to travel a long distance. As for a "good price", what does that mean to you?
THe lower the price, the older the unit. Newer units hold 80-90 % of new units. Sometimes a unit will come for sale direct from the factory because the intended owner is unable to purchase then. Those units are essentially priced the same as a custom order.

To summarize, a used 560 will be offered for sale, be prepared to travel a great distance. Determine what price point fits in your budget.

Good luck,
Jean

Well hello Jean. Thank you for your input. Yes, I've seen a raindrop and loved it. Congrats on your new CI. I know it will be challenging to find the right fit. That's why I am putting it out there... Let's see what comes my way.

Have you found your 560? We live in Cd'A and have a 550. Spent 102 nights in it our first partial year, hopefully we will do more this year now that we are "seasoned". There are not too many CampInns in the area, nice to have you joining the family. If you are traveling in yours and see Idaho plate "CAMPINN" that will be Peg and I. Stop us and say hi.
