Uinta Mountains / Lost Creek Campground

128 Miles Round Trip

Just spend a whole week at a nice little campground close to home doing a lot of relaxing and very little else. Did a bit of fly fishing and a lot of reading. Very nice to get out of the heat of the valley. Quite cold and rainy for the first half of the trip. Last half was more sunny with temps in the high 60's and low 70's.

There was a young bull moose in the campground several evenings and one night while doing the dishes, he came right through our camp site!

 

Unitas are a place I never got to explore when I lived in Utah. I hope that when our TD arrives, we may be able to include that area on a western trip. Thanks for the great photos.
