Who knows of a trip routing service the way KOA use to be where you put in point a to point b and the maps and written directions show camp grounds along the way and a long list of other things to pick from like gas stations, avoid tunnels etc. Thanks :)

We depend on AAA for this all the time.

AAA has a program called tripcheck. It is all online, and you have to be a member. My mom is and we used it for our trip out to pick up the trailer. It works ok. I think I mostly references large landmarks and hotels. That is what we used it for.

Not sure about many campgrounds...I usually just did a search in the area or took advice from other folks. I would love to hear if anyone else has luck with finding something.

I use the AAA Trip Tik it isn't terribly user friendly but if you are a member of AAA you can save your trips. It will show campgrounds if you zoom in to about City level. The printouts are very detailed so I usually just print the overview and use my ipod or Garmin for directions as we drive. One thing that is confusing is if you save a trip and later retrieve it, make changes and save again - it saves as a new trip so you have to keep renameing and deleting old trips. It is easy to see miles and times between 2 points which I like.
