My brother has been towing large boats for years.
He said this device is the best for lining up you TV to your trailer.
    It's pretty cheap too.

That looks like the view from our tow vehicle's backup camp.

Correction: That looks like the view we used have back in the days when we had a tow vehicle... :(

Hey Evan, what's up with the tow vehicle? Being repaired or replaced?

If you really need something to help you guide or line up hitch, Walmart carries a set up that has tennis balls on telescoping rods. They have magnetic bases and when you back up, you back until they touch.

There is also a device that has a "V" shaped piece of metal that fits on your TV hitch. As you back up, the trailer hitch comes in contact with the "V" plate, and then guides the hitch over the ball. When nyou touch the bottom of the "V", the hitch is in line with the ball. I believe those are carried by Gander Mountain, or Cabelas for the boat trailers.

    Evan,
good luck with your insurance company. I have found I only know how good an insurance company and agent is when I had a need and then it is too late to shop around.

I have the telescoping tennis ball device. Only problem is the telescoping is too short to see in the back window.

Jean, you need the telescoping ball device extensions. :)
