We've decided to name our 550 The Leighke House (our last name is pronounced "lay"). We spent a couple of years considering whether to buy a lake house and ultimately decided to wait. Now we'll have a our own tiny lake house to take anywhere we like!

We arrived home from our 11-hour drive from Thanksgiving last night to our first batch of photos from Craig! There's not much to see yet, but I wanted to try my hand at posting a photo in this post so I'm ready for later.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Hi Paige and Jason! I've received pics two times so far from Craig. Your baby CI might be in the same row as mine, or the row right after. In one of the pics sent to me it appears another 550 is next to mine and the rest in the row 560's.

I need to sit down and figure out the upload of pics, glad it worked well for you.

Hi Bev! You must be so excited. Are you picking up or having it delivered? We're not too far away so we'll head up to the nest sometime in January to pick her up.

    Happy waiting!

I'm going to have mine delivered, not the original plan though.

I sure have looked forward to turning the calendar page each month while waiting.....Welcome December!

It won't be long for either of us now!

As each of you head out to get your teardrops the time for mine gets closer. I get more excited as I hear of others experiences. I would like to suggest you leave the e off the end of Leighke. When I read it I automatically pronounced the e and didn't figure out what it meant till I read the rest of the e-mail. Just a suggestion.
I will be picking up my trailer in the spring. No chance traveling the mountains from Wa to Wi in the winter. I have decided to name mine Pttywagin.

Pat, I love the name Pttywagin, what a hoot! Which brings me to the name of my tear..... I had a list going with meaningful names, names that were a play on letters etc. Well, sometime within the last ten years at least once a day would find myself saying....it's a hoot, what a hoot, you're a hoot....you get it. So, while explaining all the details of the CI to one of the guys at work, I ended the conversation with... yea, my Little Hoot! ...and in that split second the list went in the circular disposal.

I can't resist, I know Cary is laughing and thinking I could have easily had the name Pttywagin on my list as one of the possible names for my tear.

    To all, enjoy your day!

That would have been perfect for you indeed Bev! LOL! But, everyone would have been asking if your name was Patty. So, maybe it is for the best.

Thanks for the naming suggestion, Pat; I'll think about it! Most folks pronounce our name "lee," so I'm used to gently correcting or more often just ignoring it. That's what I get for giving up a never-mispronounced, never-misspelled maiden name like Wilson!

Love the names you all have picked out; I always like hearing where they came from.

    Have a great day, all!

I have never been very good at thinking of names for anything. I once had a dog named Dog. All my cats end up named Kitty or Comemeir. But, I also had a little list of names that I kept adding to. pttywagin, pttycake, runamuk, gadabout, gadalot. Its been fun. At least it gives me something to do over this long winter wait.

Just woke up this AM and thought about this idea...

    Susan, you are too funny!

We've spent a ridiculous amount of time thinking about names--more than we did to name all of our kids combined! Of course, the CI will be with us longer than the kids will, right? We also considered ChaLeigh (chalet) and Bun-ga-leigh (which was my first favorite). Guess we really liked the vacation-house theme.

This is all of critical importance, of course, as I must finish the sign I made before we go pick her up!

Thanks for all the suggestions! Just checked in with Jason and he loves Leigh-Z-Inn. So we'll go with that!

Susan, do we owe you a royalty on that? Thanks for the great idea!

This forum has made all the waiting a lot more fun!

I do not use this many exclamation points in my daily life.

    I thought of another name...

The Leigh'd Back Inn (as in relaxing)

    or

The Leigh't Nite Inn (for the party type)

    or

PJ's (for pajamas) Not necessarily Paige and Jason and then followed by the above suggestions!!!

Having so much fun reading past post as we are now waiting for our 560 SUV Ultra. We are trying to come up with a permanent name for our Raindrop. This forum is sure helping to pass the time until May 2015.
