Tear Days of Summer 2012


In honor of Karen from Alabama’s great idea and well orchestrated multi-state gathering of teardrops at Cloudland Canyon, GA in 2010, the tradition will continue again this year back at Cloudland Canyon the weekend of July 26th thru 29th in the West campground.

All good folks with tears are invited to join it and if your tear got pregnant, you are welcome too. Be sure to bring your AC.

There will not be any potluck. No schedule and no events. Just camping. I guess there will be a happy hour or two or three.

Reservations are suggested and early arrival gives the best choice of sites as specific sites can not be reserved.

Try not to keep this information to yourself.

Sounds like fun ! I put it on my calendar and am going to try to make it.

My friends in the MH and I have been back to Cheaha since last summer. We talked about the great time we had with all the teardrops!
 
Welcome back Cathy. I'm glad you are still keeping watch and that the Pura Vida allows for some alcohol consumption. Or maybe it requires it. Hope to see all of you (hmmm) - the three or more of you in July.

Hey Hilditch -
Just wanted to let you know that I'm not going to make Cloudland the end of this month. I haven't seen you write about it lately so maybe it didn't come together, but I did want to let you know that it looks like I've got to do some family stuff that weekend so won't make it.

Hope you all are doing well. It's been too dang hot to camp around here lately.

Hi Cathy, hopefully next week is the start of some better camping weather for everybody! It's supposed to drop to the upper 80's later today in Chicago - my fingers are crossed...
