Hey gang -- we passed an older (I think) 550 on the I5 in Central California a couple of weeks ago. Not much conversation possible at 60+ mph. License on the 550 read "Gundies". Anyone have a clue as to who they might be?

It is possible this one is a 2005 550 Ultra located in San Jose. The license plate is somewhat similar to their name. I don't believe they are on the forum.

You sure it wasn't undies and they were putting it out to dry.

That makes sense, Betsey, especially considering the location. Forgot to mention it was our first encounter with a CI and I was sorry we didn't get to compare notes. I'm sure it will happen again, somewhere, sometime.

Oooh, I think Betsey might have solved it. I was scratching my head on this one a bit. Nice job of Sherlocking there Betsey.

Yes, old serial number 82 has a owner who's name does match up very well with the plate.

All those hours as a kid spent reading Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys paid off. ;)

Ya, I read plenty of Hardy Boys too. I was more of a Brains Benton guy though. He had a top secret science lab!
