Is it possible to have the AC option installed on a 550 that was built without it?
Or is that just a no go zone?

Check with campinn to be sure, but I'm fairly certain that is a "no", can't retro fit. There are things that can be, for example, if you aren't sure about the door screens, I think that is something you can add later, but some options simply must be done at build time.

    That's what I thought.
We have done a fair amount of vacationing/camping/RVing at the Jersey shore and will continue to do so. And my experience has been that the whole Mid Atlantic/Northeast can just be so nasty humid and hot sometimes as to be decidedly un-fun.
I'm at that point in life where I really want the ability shut the doors and create my own temperate zone when it's truly yucky at the push of a button.
So I'll just have to find a unit that's got AC...

Seems like Craig told me they did it once and decided that would be the last. Steve

It is a "no go zone". Better off selling a unit that doesn't have AC and use the seed money to purchase one with AC.

On a side note, a person can utilize an ancillary outside unit, (which for the life of me I can't recall the name).
