We're going to spend a few days camping/backpacking in the Red River Gorge, a place we have not been to before. It looks like a great area to explore.

If the recent rains haven't cleared the trees of leaves it should be about the right time for some good colors, too.

Anyone been there? I'd love to get to tips on 'must-do's', etc.

Alan has been there, years ago, and says just be sure to take mosquito repellant because if there is any kind of warm weather you will get eaten up!! I know that in November most of the bugs seem to be gone but he was there years ago at Christmas and it was buggy!!
Have a great trip! Ours next week is to Florida Caverns in Marianna, Florida.
