Pocahontas State Park

Pocahontas State Park was a nice place to camp. Big sites with a long driveway, tent pad and a gravel area with lantern post for the picnic table. Good distance between most sites. Site specific ones you can reserve specific ones and non specific ones you can come on in and pick from what is open. During the week I would do this next time. I would go to back Loop where you will have less traffic although it is all nice. Park does have yurts and cabins if you are meeting up with noncampers.

Large park near Richmond with pool, lake, lots of hiking/biking trails. Clean bathrooms and the showers are individual so have a locked door and not just a curtain.
