Outdoor storage with heater / dehumidifier?

Wondering if anyone has any experience or advice regarding outdoor storage in a cold climate (NH) with the aid of a heater / dehumidifier? I'll buy the Camp-Inn cover, and then I'm thinking of these GoldenRod heaters typically used for firearm storage. I will have access to AC power. Thinking a big one in the cabin and a small one in the galley, on a timer so that they are on a few hours per day. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks, Kyle.

Seems like a very good ifea if you have access to AC. I do not.

The CampInn covers are very stout.
I've stored mine covered and uncovered for long periods of time in an outdoor lot but in a semi-desert environment.

But anything under cover is gonna generate some condensation at times.

I'm now playing around with the idea of cutting out a section of a spare cover and gluing/sewing in a plastic panel, to allow sun to power the rooftop solar, (or where you could slide under and let sit on roof a small battery type battery maintenance solar panel that RV owners use) to keep the CI battery topped off.

Powering something like this by DC would be an easy way to avoid changing out silica bags, inside. I dint see any on Amazon in a quick dcan.

AC version witout handy lot power would need an inverter of course plugged into a cigarette lighter outlet in the CI, and that sucks more bat-tree juice.

One could Ask the former inverter engineers at CampInn what they think. Good for storing camera gear and other things long term in the CI.

Looks like these and others like it at Amaxon use about the equivalent of a lightbulb. You'd want to be sure you dont let the battery get inadvertently get drained by an unknown or ghost draw...ask me how I know!

Hmmm.

This is where I'm glad I have a garage that is semi-heated :) I just need to make sure the mattress allow some good airflow under it, open up the storage bays, and leave it to slumber peacefully in a 40 degree garage :) I don't even have to winterize!

I AM wondering though, in February it is likely I'll be camping for about 7 weeks in Texas --- full time. Temperatures dip into the 30, even hovering at 30's. I'm thinking a lizard warmer mat is going to get stuck in the wet bay area....not worried about the tank, that is freeze safe as I understand it.

More on that Dallas thing once decisions are formalized!
