One Year Anniversary plus a cat!

Dear Friends,

One year ago today, we picked up our 550 Special in Necedah and launched our full-time Teardropping life adventure! It has been an amazing year of travel and meeting wonderful people along the way. We have learned a lot, changed things around, and discarded much, in our year on the road. The forum is a great resource as are Cary and Craig for all things teardrop! We thank our lucky stars for this opportunity to and privilege of adventuring around this beautiful country of ours.

And during our wanderings throughout this year, we longed for a pet. We expected a dog to enter our lives, but while cruising through Las Cruces NM, we found the BEST cat ever and adopted this sweetie on the spot! Nevelle is his name and he is a fantastic addition to our teardropping lifestyle! Lucky for us, Nevelle was leash trained as an indoor only cat. He has since adapted to leash walks outside and loves it! He's a bit of a challenge to walk at times (cats do have minds of their own!!), but overall this has been a success! His litter box is at our feet for nighttime use and we clean it out pronto if he uses it. And although he has a favorite corner, he typically sleeps between us at night.

During the day Nevelle is outside with us, on a tie-out and is very active. If we run errands, he's with us, and stays in the car. If it is hot, one of us stays with him to ensure his well-being.

Nevelle travels well in the car with us. He has a fleece blanket on top of a box as his favorite perch. We keep water and food and a litter box in the car for him, and at rest stops, all three of us go out to walk! Overall, Nevelle is a happy cat and full of love. Full-timing as three brings us so much joy and fun!
