‘Next time’ is THE cliché of teardrop builders and owners who didn’t buy a Camp-Inn. Hang around one of them for ½ hour and you will probably hear it multiple times.
Although seldom heard from Camp-Inn owners, if you do hear it then it will be 95% about not having the AC or TV, in that order. We know you can get away without AC in International Falls or Alpena, however if you venture South of the 40º latitude line your song will change pitch as the heat rises and you decide to spend your $ on motel rooms.
If you pass on the AC you need to take an oath that you will never venture below 40º. If you do, Holiday Inn will get the money you saved and you will be able to join the home builders saying: “Next time…”
Now, you can add it later, but you will need an extra chair.
You simply hold the remote for the on/off switch in your hand while sleeping. When you are freezing you turn it off. When you are sweating, you turn it back on. Losing the remote in the covers is a real pain that requires a lot of groping, so don't do it.
I didn't think we would need AC, but bought it for resale value. We have only needed it about 40 nights with more to come. The AC on a chair is a hard sell in the South, but not as hard as no AC.
