Have used alcohol wipes, alightly wetted edge of bar soap rubbed on bite, and liquid Benadryl all to good effect.

Meat tenderizer...never leave home without it...great on itchy bug bites & stings. Great for mosquito bites! Wet the bite with water, sprinkle on the tenderizer & rub it in...not only does it feel good on the itching but it breaks down the protein in the bite to reduce swelling, itching & redness. Works well on most bites.

Pure vanilla mixed w/water in a spray bottle works well for bug repellent.
