I would like to paint a logo on the two sides of out teardrop, and a picture on the hatch. Does anyone know what kind of paint to use?

I was wondering the same thing! I was also thinking of custom vinyl overlays.
My concern about paint, is what do you do if you try to sell your CI?

Paint sounds scary to me. I'd go with a vinyl decal.

We did the vinyl for Towed Hall's name. The lines are pretty thin and we did have some trouble with peeling in a couple of places. I believe that we replaced it after 3 yrs... that's Karin's department...

I use Marine Grade vinyl on both of mine and works just fine. I've been looking for a clear sealant, Power 303 or something like that.

I'm ordering 2 more,on small one for the lower front door panel on the truck, like WWII nose art and then a big one on the back of "Le Droppe" back hatch. (concerned though, people will start to Tail gate to see it.. so not sure what to do yet..

Thats my worry about peeling too. Not sure I want that to happen. How do you get the old one off to put a new one on?

These look great! If you don't mind me asking, who made them? Did you put them or did they?

The Decals are Marine grade Vinyl. You can peel it off with a hot air hair dryer if need be. They should be coated, just haven't really looked that hard.

These are custom made by a lady Jerri who owns the business
Victory Girl specializing in "Nose Art".

Fits right in the same time era of Tear Drops.
You let her know what you want, she will sketch it until you like it and then sends it off to the printer for the Marine Grade Vinyl.
Goes on real easy like, can remove or correct it within the first 10 minutes or so.

Here's the original set up she did for me, but it didn't quite fit the area. Looked too much like a picture not like Nose Art. My fault as i didn't know what to look for... Goto the link and view the gallery. While she specializes in Aircraft Nose Art, she's open to anything..

It works fine in the rain and I use the Self Car-wash. While i don't Hi-pressure them they don't show any wear or tear.. eventually they will, just remove and replace..
