We took our #266 up to Necedah Thursday because the battery wasn't charging off the land line. I had talked with Craig during the week and he figured the charger was probably bad, which was exactly what the problem was. Craig replaced the charger and everything was back working like it should. We also decided to have the faucet and backsplash done - which Craig installed as well. It looks great and is a huge improvement. While we were there, Marty gave the trailer a good once over, checking to be sure the door seals were good, etc., trimmed the roof fan caulking, and graciously didn't mention the general state of the exterior finish of the trailer. We also got a new set of poles for the side tent, which seem much sturdier.
It's always nice seeing the crew in Necedah - a reminder that we made a great choice.
We then spent the weekend at Castle Rock County Park, about 15-20 minutes from Necedah. This will be the site of the CampInn CampOutt this September. It's a great campground, we stayed there last year while having some options added and would definitely recommend it. Nice sites, some right on the lake, a beach, and good shower/washroom facilities.
And then got Mom home to spend the afternoon with all 4 of the kids for a great Mother's Day celebration.
