Itinerary Maine Outing In Old Orchard Beach

Betsy,
We had a great weekend. The weather was fantastic. There were 3 camp-Inns plus a Travel Lite in our group, Alan & Rachel (Poplar Hill Rv) Beth & Pete and son Ben (Vermont), Jackie & Myself, and Mike & Jackie with the Travel Lite. Sat. evening we all walked down to OOB to partake in the greasy food (Yum) other than that there was time around the pool and just relaxing. We had our ferret with us and because it was so hot we put her in the side tent in her cage and let the AC in the 560 keep her cool. It worked out great!
Alan is leaving today to come out and see you guys and pick up another side tent for us, Jackie wants one on her side too! I'm looking forward to getting out to see you all some time also and if you ever want to make the trek out here you know you have friends here!

Sounds like you had a great time!

I do miss the ocean (the smell of the marsh is a favorite of mine - lol), good seafood (especially fried clams that melt in your mouth :) ) , & New England in the fall. I am from southeastern NH...born in Exeter, lived in Seabrook & then moved inland from Hampton about 30 miles. We have been back with the teardrop several times. Most recently, for a week 2 years ago this October. All of my aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. are still there.

Betsey,
A true New Englander! I know it is hard for alot of ppl to understand just what it is like in this neck of the "woods".
The fried clams and lobster rolls are our favorites! I was born in Ky. and it's a nice place to visit but I still love it here(not counting the snow lol) Jackie was born in Milo and is a Mainer thru & thru. She is also a Red Sox fanatic, Just look at our trailer and you can tell. It is the rolling Red Sox shrine.
I really hope we can all meet some time and really enjoy the stories I'm sure we all have.
Bruce
