Brad, I'm not sure if I've seen you post to the forum. Welcome :)

How do you like them, have you had a chance to give them a good testing? I've got a metal plate set, and I love how easy it is to clean and how rugged they are. But the food always seems to be cold before I get from the grill to the camp chair...the one flaw of metal is it conducts heat well, and there isn't enough 'heft' to pre-warm the plates....

I remember going to the steakhouse with a wooden plate with a steel insert on top -- Great idea, but horrible space utilization! Maybe we need to resort to start-trek technology like transparent aluminum (Oh, wait...that is a real thing now!) to crack this problem :D
